yeah, but that's the problem.......
I think WB needs to, once again, take a look at what was done with X-Men and Spider-Man. They (surprisingly) decided NOT to go with the big shoot-em-up explosion-time directors, and opted for less-mainstream ones who knew exactly what they were doing.

yeah i think Raimi started off a little weak with Spider-man being that it was his first big budget lotsa CGI movie, but he really pulled it off with Spider-man 2.

UPDATE FROM SHH:
-----------------------------------------------
The Hollywood Reporter followed-up with Warner Bros. and Michael Bay after the Superman logo appeared on the director's official site and then disappeared again later yesterday...
"McG has been on board to direct the project since last summer, in recent weeks rumors have been circulating that there are problems between the studio and the "Charlie's Angels" director over the location of the shoot, according to sources. That has sparked talk that Bay is in line to replace McG. A Warner Bros. spokesperson maintains that the studio is still very much in business with McG and that rumors about Bay's involvement are "absolutely not true"; a WMA spokesperson confirmed that Bay has not been approached about the film. Bay said through a staffer that the site is operated by a fan and that he had no involvement in posting the logo."

McG....the name alone makes me want to break stuff. OF ALLLLLLLL the directors out there thats the guy they get...jesus. Way to go DC first Catwoman and now this.
Well unlike Marvel, DC is owned by a AOl-Time/Warner thus Warner Bros doesn't really have to answer to a seperate entitiy that controls the characters...
well i noticed a sizable difference in actrual direction. Spider-man 2 is shot like a horror movie.
